My sentiments exactly to my friends as we were exiting the theater. This was such a blast.

Probably just cut for pacing/runtime issues.

My best guess is it was included to get an action scene into the film early since it takes a bit for that to happen in the final cut. But doesn’t seem to be really needed plot wise and after Endgame takes such a long time to get to the action, maybe they felt a slower build up was fine.

Yep. This kinda of hints back to the OG Spider-man movies where Peter goes through the same type of issues and all his powers go out of wack. Anytime Peter is out of focus or distracted, his powers change.

[Show spoiler] Whereas at the end, he realizes that he doesn't have to live with that weight, and that he can be just as good a hero, if not better, with Tony gone.
They could have explained it better, but I think they certainly hinted at it.

I didn't know it was possible for me to get any more excited for this movie.

4 more hours.

Very good movie overall. One of the best Spiderman movies to date, with Into the Spider-Verse still holding the top spot. Speaking of which, there was a long sequence that reminded me of the style of Into the Spider-Verse. Great chemistry among the cast and the jokes felt natural/deserved. I was not a fan of Endgame at all, however, I liked the angle and jokes Far From Home used in relation to Endgame.

I did have two minor nitpicks with Spiderman towards the beginning. I want to see Spiderman with a mask that he can pull off. Please no nano tech type of mask, as it is also a bad use of CGI. When we first see Peter in action in Venice, there was something weird about how he moved, like it was obvious he was attached to bungee cords while jumping.

One of the biggest issues I had with Homecoming was
[Show spoiler]how much influence Tony Stark had in that movie. Apparently I must have been in the minority on that one, because Tony had more of an influence in this. However, Tony’s influence felt more deserved in Far From Home, while it felt forced in Homecoming.

The mid-credit scene is one the MCU's best to date, while the ending credit scene was OK.

Will we be getting a poll soon? 4.5 out of 5.

Yeah, I feel ya. I'm sure it was done for a good reason. That being said, I'd love to see it included in the film on the home video release perhaps with seamless branching to get a different feel for how it would play out.

Cut for pacing. Will supposedly be included on the BD/4K in short film form, along with the 'Peter Parker here to pick up a passport please' scene, entitled "Peter's Errands". We'll have to wait and see if this comes to fruition, but either way, it was cut for pacing.

Mysterio was amazing in this.
Great 2nd Half.
Most of the humor was done well.
Best Spider-Man sequences on screen in a while.
1st half takes a bit to get going.

4/5

Wasn’t gonna run out to see this, but due to the good reviews and holiday tomorrow, I’ll think I’ll check out a matinee.

Yeah, the Phase 3 villains for the most part have been excellent for the MCU, Zemo, Ego, Vulture, Killmonger, Thanos & the FFH villain.

Although I feel, at the very least Kaecilius and Hela were serviceable. Ghost while cool effects, wasn't more than that .

I went to the third showing in IMAX on opening night. They were giving out posters and ran out of them. After the show I went to, there was a line of people asking if there were any more posters. Luckily I was able to grab one before going in. There were also souvenir cups and popcorn buckets.

Its only foreign to me because i usually leave the comment section blank (was trained to for discretionary purposes), or use sick leave and say it was for a dentist appt. I just reserve vacation leave for actual vacation time, and use sick or annual leave for such things, or just flex my time, tho I know some employers don’t provide those options or are just anal about such things.

I lie and put "Family trip out of town" and I've never had a problem requesting the day off. Matter of fact, I just put in for 8/13 today as soon as the option became available. Endgame Blu-ray is only a month and a half away.

I live two houses down from people who work for me. So I can't lie.

But I rather have off Fri and Sat.

So back to Spider-Man now.

Just got back from seeing Far From Home. I had my concerns, but I gotta say I really loved it. Not sure if I love it more than Homecoming, but it's definitely on the same level for me, which is high marks. Now I cannot wait for Spider-Man: Hometown Hero or
[Show spoiler]Hometown Menace
or whatever the third entry will be called.

Besides Crawl, there's nothing coming out in theatres that I want to see until August 9th. So I might end up seeing this 2-3 more times especially if it remains on the bigger screens.

I am really looking forward to seeing Midsommar, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and The Farewell this month.
