I can't imagine the studio would go through the trouble of having that QR code on the poster, to lead someone to a site that showed just the image, if they were not planning on doing something with it, again, perhaps a midnight screening giveaway print, etc, but it's unknown what the real meaning of it is yet. |

If you are looking at poly tube sleeve material to store your posters individually rolled, ULine.com carries them in various sizes. If you are looking at flat plastic sleeves, while Roar pointed out, that website carries them, the price is quite expensive. I can get you 29" x 43" PVC plastic clear sleeves which are bigger than a standard movie poster by about 2" on the sides and 3" in the length which allows you to store a few posters per sleeve and some "breathing" room all around the poster too. Send me a private message if you need more information.

Well I really would like to flatten them out to inspect them first of all. Some of them, like the Avenger posters, I'll definitely look to frame them.
I was thinking of putting them in the sleeve and hanging them on the wall (that way, the poster can be displayed and won't take damage) using blu-tack or some other adhesive that won't damage the wall. I have no idea if blu-tack would be strong enough to hold the weight of the poster and sleeve though. But also storing them flat seems better for me personally because I'd want to look at them from time to time. I'm in Australia and Australia really isn't big on catering to poster collectors. Appreciate the help! Last edited by Genesisfury; 06-28-2012 at 07:06 PM. |

![]() IF it helps at all, the posters I buy from eBay only cost $10-12 to ship here. Not sure if the sleeves can be put in a poster tube or something ![]() ![]() ![]() But let me know if you figure out the shipping costs. |

Regarding posters being shipped to Australia, more than likely those are shipped First Class Mail but you have to be careful as the postal service doesn't allow for insurance to be added to First Class parcels, so if a tube arrives damaged, or it gets lost or stolen in the mail, the seller probably won't do anything about it since there is no protection on their end. Not trying to scare you but all it takes is one lost tube or damaged one. There are ways to insure First Class parcels through 3rd party companies and it is something I am looking into myself to start offering as right now as the only method I generally use is Priority Mail International and that can get quite expensive. I don't trust First Class Mail because a lot can happen between the time it ships to the time it arrives, which is why I am hoping to finally add that service with insurance added soon to keep costs down for the international buyers. |

The polytube sleeve material that I use to roll posters up for shipping are the 2mil thick 2" opening x 3000 feet roll. I didn't care for the higher mil thickness, 2mil works well and the opening is enough for one poster. A roll will last a collector a very long time.

If you can still cancel your order, I would do that, and let me send you some sample of the 2mil 2" opening that I use, and if you are happy with it, then you can order it from ULine, I should have suggested that to everyone first when I posted, that way people would have an idea of what it is like, etc. So long as people cover the postage, etc, I have no problem sending enough for one poster so they get an idea of what it is like. |

Could only find http://www.cardaccessoriescentre.com.au. Sent off an email to see if they could special order the larger ones.
In my search, however, I did find these for the banners that I have: http://www.posterpassion.com.au/prod...tand_lite.html Out of curiosity, how much would it cost you to send them, Kinsella? Told you Australia sucks. Don't know what to do now. Last edited by Genesisfury; 06-29-2012 at 09:25 AM. |
