My Xbox Series X is arriving tomorrow from Best Buy. I am happy to see that a lot of people are able to buy this system now.

I bought the Series X last July and sold it 3 weeks later, this time I will stay with it as I want to try the auto HDR implemented by Microsoft and the 60fps boost was a good addition. Online Hacking is down for Watch Dogs 1 on Playstation and PC, it's only working on the Xbox, so that's another reason

My true next gen system is the PS5 for me, but the PS4 Pro looks great. At this point, I rather wait until Sony releases a slim or Pro model, with at least 1.5TB of storage.

Ended up getting mine from a famous Brazilian store today. Very expensive ($1120), but after a year of successive frustrations, well worth it.

Is the elite controller worth it for someone who plays single player games and racing games mostly?

Looking for some feedback. The regular Xbox controller seems fine, but I want to know if there are more benefits to the elite. Thanks.

It is a great controller, and once you figure out how to use the back buttons it can be a real game changer. I suppose if you aren’t playing competitively or long hours, it’s probably not worth full price.
There are a lot of nice customization options, finding what works for you is nice. The hexagon d-pad was my go to modification so I’m glad they became the standard on the Series controllers, but it’s nicer on the elite.

One thing I am not a fan of is sprinting with L3 (left thumbstick). If the Elite lets me remap that to the back paddles, along with the build and customization, it may be worth it.

One more question. I saw there is an Elite 1 and an Elite 2, is there reason to believe that an Elite 3 controller might be released within the next year?

That’s hard to say, but if you are concerned you could wait until e3 or TGS. If nothing is announced by then you should be safe for another year. The price did just drop, but it is likely to be a temporary promotion. If they do make a change, I hope it’s more than simply adding the capture button that is on the Series controllers.

walmart.com has this right now for 499.99 looks like these are coming into stock now on a more permanent basis. I just passed on it because I have to much to do around my house.

One is quantity of items, not the number of orders.

I ordered ONE console, my order would be canceled immediately, then I would order again after a while.

Well, I guess Derb's run on his PS5 is over now...

I take it you don't remember your password or something for the account? There was a time back when I bought the PS3 and switched over to that full time instead of the 360, which lasted probably a couple of years or so and I was able to get my account back just fine.

Fired up the One X today.

I thought there was a certain period of time before MS axed your account if you didn’t have Gold. In my case, it’s been 2 years.

Thankfully after signing in, I see my games. A little paranoid is all.

Just can’t play multiplayer until I get Gamepass Ultimate which I’m gonna do once I get the SX.

My TV is feeling lonely because I’m not taking advantage of its specs such as.. 120hz + VRR + HDR + Dolby Vision + 10-Bit RGB.
