+1 One of my favorite demo scenes for surround and LFE.. the barrel role is just scary and the highest my SPL meter ever put out at my normal listening levels.

This movie had lots of LFE that spans several minutes. Definitely demo-worthy. Reminds me how much I love my Ultras.

I think Battle: Los Angeles deserves a mention here. Some high quality and varied bass in that flick.

I only have a bic h100, so I probably miss lots of stuff, but.
War of the Worlds had some good stuff. Enough air to move some curtains.

Main part I remember from that one is the bar scene where things are moving.

Hot Fuzz can easily be classified as bass porn.

Thumbs up

LOTR: FOTR (EE) - just 4 minutes in, when the big fella on the horse (Saron/Sauron? ) has his fingers cut off with "the ring", right after that, there's a Serious wallop of LFE that will just Shake your Foundations! Wow, talk about Thunderous!!

Many parts in just the First disc (1:45 run-time) have Incredible Low-End. Talk about a Sub lovers Heaven...

I can only imagine what disc 2 of FOTR will entail, not to mention the Much more Action-oriented 2nd & 3rd movies

I just watched (rewatched) all 3 X-Men movies (first time with a decent system) and in X3 when Jean goes crazy in her childhood home Rocked louder than anything I have ever seen/heard (even more than Inception in some parts)! My HT is downstairs and the wall clock upstairs in the kitchen fell off its hook and busted on the floor!!! It was intense!

Unless they totally remixed the sequels, don't expect much LFE from TTT (it was always on the anemic side) but you should get a better workout from ROTK. That said, FOTR was always te bassiest of the three (even before Mi Casa's overzealous tinkering on the original DVD release).
