How do you like the CS2 paired with the Monitor 60's? I just got ahold of some 60's and will be upgrading my center soon, and have been debating either the CS1 or CS2.

LOL. I was a little worried what she would say due to the size. Although they're not much wider than conventional speakers they're about 1.6m high and a shade over 600mm deep!!!

I'm sure if they sounded bad they'd be gone! Even she had to admit to hearing things in her music that she'd never heard before...

I love the CS2. It's the best speaker in my setup.

This is probably both the best and worst thread on this site!!

To many ideas running through my head on what I want to do for my setup when it can actually be started.

I get the basement of my house to put all of my "toys" but right now it is all exposed. The cinder blocks of the foundation are my walls, all of the wiring is showing.

Keep all of those pix coming, this is the best source for products and setups that I've been able to find on the internet.

You can get everything exactly the way you want it when you start from scratch..... I'm envious! Make sure you have a good HVAC system in place if you do a theater.

Default My humble setup

Please be kind. My setup is no where near as nice as most of you but I still love watching it.

Right now I just have my PS3 hooked up to a DVD HTIB for sound. I still get surround sound through optical and that's good enough for now. I live in a 600 sq. ft. apartment and the wife already yells at me for the sound being to loud .

As soon as we get a house one of the first things I'm gonna do is upgrade the audio . It will be a while though, a few more years at least.

The side racks were actually book shelves from target. I got them a couple of years back, Not sure if they still have them.

As for the rug. It's From pier 1. It looks like the design is cut out but it actually just happens to match the carpet underneath really nicely

Part of being able to negotiate all my electronic "necessities" is making sure everything still looks nice so the wife stays happy.

Thanks guys for the kind words.

If you want some nice home theater carpet here's a website I got mine from
http://www.owencarpet.com/printed_carpet.htm
Scroll down to gaming and entertainment carpet.
You can find what you want then call them. They were great over the phone. I got the one with the film reels and popcorn buckets in a 6' X 12" and they even finished the edge all around and I got it for like 200.00. Correction, it was 186.00.
It's also commercial grade so it will last a long time. They have the best price for home theater rugs that I found. Hope that helps. The one I got is called "Showtime"

They also ship all over for a very reasonable price. I think my shipping was like 20 bucks.
