Went to 2 different Targets this morning and BOTH of them had tossed the slipcovers out so I just went to Wal*Mart and price matched it.

Works on my PS3 and my Song BDP-S301.

AMAZING looking too. Definitely an experience worth enjoying.

With this price, I think Avatar will be breaking all kind of dvd/bluray sale record. I did not get a chance to watch this in 3d theater so I can not wait to see this today.

Nobody has a screener yet, as far as I know. I will say, this is the prettiest grain-free live-action blu I've ever seen, can't wait to watch it in full 1080p, the way it was meant to be seen.

No other site has a review yet. There's been multiple new threads regarding "where's the review".

not sure where to to put this but I did an in store pickup for avatar at best buy and they had a hold on my checking account at 1st for the price of it but then the hold went away and they never wound up charging me again for the movie
so idk

Someone complained that Avatar wouldn't play on his Pioneer BDP-09FD. I have no idea whether he had the most up-to-date firmware (2.62), but since I have an 09FD and just ordered Avatar, I'd love to know if anyone else has input on this

Could it be someone has managed to resume a blu-ray? But then it took me to 2:41:41, the end of the film. lol

Yeah it has book-marking and resume playback, wish all blu-rays were like that.

Also, I had no glitches or issues playing the BD on my Sony BDP-S550 player.

Me thinks that most, if not all of the official reviews, will confirm what many of us have already seen... Picture quality-wise, in a scale of 1 to 10... THIS GOES TO ELEVEN!!!
