I went for these (for now):
Green for Danger - £7.20 The Ghoul - £3.60 The Medusa Touch - £5.40 The Night Has Eyes - £4.80 The Woman in Black - £8.40 This Happy Breed - £5.40 Had been meaning to get The Medusa Touch for years now so finally went for it, and had been curious about This Happy Breed and The Ghoul too and was waiting for them each to fall to similar prices to in the past (£3-5ish). The others are just a few I wanted to see (particularly The Woman in Black). Might go back in, and admit I'm tempted by some of the box sets even if they'd just sit around for a few years before I watched them - considering Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Space 1999, Space Patrol. I guess I could just wait for the next sale, they're not going to go OOP anytime soon. Some great deals on stuff I already have though. Robbery, Seance on a Wet Afternoon, Station Six-Sahara, Unearthly Stranger and The Smallest Show on Earth are particular bargains I saw. |

Went for a second dip just before bed (no issues ordering this time):
Escape from Sobibor - £6.60 The Man Who Haunted Himself - £5.40 Who Killed Teddy Bear - £4.80 Another few titles I'd been mulling over for a long while now, so bit the bullet as I think they're cheaper than I've seen them before. Was considering several others - The Intruder, Man on the Run, The Square Ring, Passport to Shame, The Card, Cottage to Let, The Overlanders, Bitter Springs - but decided to leave those to a future sale (and I'm sure they'll be even cheaper then). Hopefully by then things like The Weapon and State Secret will be reduced... ![]() |

Had to do three orders to avoid the £30 courier shipping charge:
1. £42.08 + £7.85 = £49.93 [Show spoiler] 2. £38.58 + £7.85 = £46.43 [Show spoiler] 3. £70.32 + £7.85 = £78.17 [Show spoiler] Combining these any other way would have hit the £30 shipping charge. For the DVD sets, they hit £7.85 on their own, so the Blu-rays ship "free", but if I added more than one other title, it hit £30. Apparently, I could have added one more single title to the third order and kept it £7.85, but I missed that, somehow. Still, I saved the additional £6.45 this way, so I can't complain. |

They confirmed to me via e-mail the Digipak of series 3 went out of print in September last year and replaced with the standard as I was after one, took a month of searching to find one so seems eBay or CEX would be the last resort for that now, dunno about 4 but looks like its gone the same way.

Thats what I would do if I was still after 3 & 4 in the limited digipaks whilst the 40% discount is active and would be a fairly easy sell to get shot of the limited packaging seasons 1 & 2 to reclaim some of the outlay of the big set.

Sorry if I asked this before or someone else did and it was answered already, but does anyone know if Network is just allowing many of their vintage TV releases on DVD to go OOP? It looks like some have just gone quietly away and aren't even available at Amazon or eBay. Right now I'm thinking I should go for some of those rather than any Blus. Thanks in advance.
