Nice although I wouldn't have overlapped the title on that dark band unless it was switched to white.

yeah there's a bit I would change on the back, so I might just do my own version of this (with the 4k markings). Was there ever a good VHS sleeve for this movie? Might do that

Couldn't find a good scan of the back cover of the UHD (if anyone wants to provide one for the bottom info?)

I do a lot of custom covers, so I invested in a paper cutter. Print them with bleed areas as well. They look sooooo much nicer now.

I'd love to get a paper cutter, yes. As far as printing goes I simply print out at 100% size and try my best. I didn't get super anal with this one because I figured it was a bit of a test. The front cover is shorter on its side if you noticed; I'd missed adjusting page margins through Windows' clunky interface and I hadn't noticed it cut off a tad. Still not bad considering I've rarely done any of these.

Honestly one of the best tools that I own. I use it several times per week for cutting paper, labels, pictures, etc. It can cut all four sides in just a few seconds and it makes a perfect straight edge every time. Don't know what I'd do without it.

I find the back to be a bit much. "First horror epic... masterpiece... tracking shots..." Who the heck would talk about something technical like tracking shots on a box? The text on the back of the real box is much simpler and less pretentious. No offense. I prefer having a description that isn't overly opinionated, so that the viewer can feel free to make up their own mind without being... talked down to, for lack of a better word or saying.

Also, at least the real text actually describes the movie (gives a synopsis), much like the (albeit mediocre) cover art showing the child, the hotel and the madman, as opposed to the big weird T with the Videodrome face.

My steelbook from Zavvi arrived yesterday. Damn, those opening shots look glorious. That grain!!

Seeing the 4K scan in theatres was incredible, but it's a different experience entirely seeing it on a TV in 4K in your living room (or in my case, my bedroom lol).

This yellow steelbook sure matches my poster and t-shirt tho I must say.

WOW!! Fancy!!! A tv in the bedroom. Must be nice. I don't have one. Well, not one that works. I've got a brick on the wall at the moment. LOL. It was my mom's tv that I got after she passed, but the power cord was lost somehow. I bought a new one at Best Buy, but I've lost the bag in my house somewhere. That was months ago. Oh well!!!

Check out the early VHS and BETA covers, proper retro.

Yours looks awesome mind, but I’ve always associated the shining Artwork with Jack looking through the axe hole. That’s always been my memory of any promo stuff for the movie.
