I would imagine the flag next to certain titles mean they are exclusive to that region.

Ah, I see. So they might only be on the service for a month and you have that long to complete it?

Does this also count for Stray? From the public reportings I assumed this would work just like the regular PS+ Free Titles but is only one more title for the higher tiers.

Stray should hopefully be on the service for a very long time as one of the early selling point titles

I don't know about you but my Series X most certainly does support Dolby Vision.

Decided to go for the extra tier. Makes sense when I have been playing mostly VR for the last six years. I now have a PS5 and I haven’t played a big chunk of the games catalogue on offer.

Don’t need to buy games anymore with this offering with the exception of a future GTA6 and Fallout. I’m quite patient otherwise, so will just wait to see what gets added over time.

The money saved will go to 4K and Blu-ray films!

My only issue with Xbox & Dolby is “Dolby Vision for Gaming”

If you have this ticked, every HDR game will be in Dolby Vision even if it doesn’t support it natively.

Series X or PS5 doesn’t play 4K movies in Dolby vision cause M$ Or Sony wouldn’t pay for it. Dolby vision is only available for games and streaming movies not discs.

Only on discs, and that always been that way - no Xbox model does.

You can stream movies though.

I went with the 'Extra' level.
Cost me £76 for 12 months as my PS Plus expired a month or so back

Downloaded Returnal, it’s as great as some of you guys were saying. Looks stunning and very atmospheric.

I'm in the thick of Horizon forbidden west at the moment, so won't get round to anything for awhile

I am prioritising Returnal as one never knows when it will be removed. The likes of Spider-Man/Miles Morales can wait as I own them.

My plan is to focus on two games a month from the games collection and try to complete both.

Hopefully time for a little Spidey in-between! !

I'd hope we would get at least 60 days notice for games to be removed.
It would be a dick move otherwise....although Sony seem to be doing that a lot recently.

Hell, it's only come to light recently that games will be removed.
Which make the whole "we will be adding games mid month" seem a bit redundant as they will probably remove just as many.

I suspect that a lot of the regular upcoming PS+ titles will already be available in the Extra catalogue also so we may lose the benefit of those.

So far I'm really glad that I updated my subscription. I haven't played the first PS1, PS2 or PS3 game yet though. What I have been doing is going downloading and trying games that I thought I might like that was on PS4 but never got around to playing them. Found a few gems so far like Moonlighter. Currently playing Call of Cthulhu which is keeping my interest for the time being. So many games to keep me busy. Can't wait to see what other games they add.

I do wish that they would update the store or search feature to streamline the included PS+ titles. Sure I can go into the store, into PS+, into premium games, into categories, and so on. It just seems buried to me.

I think something like a tab on the main menu for the subscription tier you have would be nice.

Agreed. If I'm on extra tier don't show me all the premium games too.
I know they are trying to make people upgrade, but it's annoying

I started Syphon Filter (I already owned it, so didn’t need to upgrade plus) and it’s both better and worse than I remember. the graphics held up well imo, but the controls/aim aged like milk. having fun with it nevertheless

I think this new addition to ps5 is a blessing, I barely had time to play anything this month and that won’t change anytime soon, but these old games are relatively short, so even when chipping at them a couple of times a week, I’d still make decent progress

Hopefully they bring more ps1 games with trophy support
