You can always contact a seller and see if they relist it or maybe purchase it off eBay for less than the original starting bid, but then you aren't protected by eBay, but at the same time, would be protected with Paypal.

Yeah I couldn't find that ROTK artwork anywhere at all. And the coloring on the posters seems a little different than on the Blu-ray covers, but I prefer the covers (although I would obviously prefer it without the "5-disc extended edition" verbiage. Really hope I can find all three of these.

Thanks allforce. That's kind of what I was afraid. At least 16x24 isn't a huge size to have a custom one made for.

For those looking for reprints, and don't want to spend the money on originals, that is a good deal. Thanks for posting that, as I am sure there are some here who are fine with reproductions.

To those of you who received your Mondo Batman TDKR prints, did you receive a shipping notification?
Still waiting on mine and the one my folks ordered for me (which is being shipped to their house)... one of which will be framed and given away as a raffle prize at my event. |

Definitely no confirmation email on my end. Though I'm not surprised. I didn't get one for my Stout Avenger's or my Nightmare before Christmas posters.
Though when I log in, the website shows the poster has been shipped. I have a feeling it will arrive this week. Thursday is my bet? ![]() |

Kinsella - do they ever make any double-sided reprints, or are they mostly one-sided? I was always under the impression they don't really do DS for reprints. One-sided reprints would of course not be suitable for lightboxes...

The double-sided originals nowadays are easier to spot because the studios all have made it so the backside of the poster is actually lighter than the front. While still double-sided, the color consistency on the backside is a faded/lighter back when compared the front. Some more noticeably than others. For example, when it came to the Dark Knight movie posters, the first two styles released (advances "A" and "B") which came out in late 2007 were the same color consistency on the backside as they were on the front, many other movie posters were as well. But then when the two final styles came out in March 2008, they were some of the first from that studio to feature the lighter backsides to them. Remember not everyone in the poster industry cares about collectors or being honest, that is how it is with any collectible, there are some who don't care who they scam, they just are in it for the money. Knock off shoes, women's handbags, you know it, pretty much everything that is considered a collectible will have counterfiets as well. |

In the deals forum someone shared a link with a section of originals. But their prices seem way off from movieposeters.com and the guy I've bought from on ebay for years. The hard to find stuff seems to be priced way too good to be true where the common every day poster I've seen for $5 they want $25+ for. Is this place to be trusted for originals? Anyone buy from them before?
