Well Onkyo generally makes receivers and Klipsch makes speakers. So you can't really compare them.

edit: besides Onkyo's HTIB speakers

Yea their new HTIB are pretty sweet. I was just saying that cause generally Klipsch only makes speakers. But IMHO an onkyo 606 and Klipsch speakers would be better than the included Onkyo's speakers. But I have yet to hear their new systems, so cant really judge.

I agree....Darwin nice setup you have. Not overbearing, but enough to get the job done! And you made the riser yourself? Excellent work

makes me curious what your other rooms look like then.

one comment though... since i hate wires... maybe try to find something to hide the wires connecting your TV to your gear. doesn't have to be in-wall necessarily.

good stuff.
They thanks, yeah i'm with you. I hate the wires haha... i'm running in the wall this weekend when I get a chance to set up the wall peices I need

Actually Onkyo does make speakers other than their HTIB speakers. Just go to the Onkyo site and see them.

Yes they do but the key word was "generally", cause when you think of Onkyo you dont think speakers, you think receivers. And besides a handful of speakers on that list all those other speakers appear to be from their HTIB's.
