I was originally looking at The Amityville Horror 4K and The Walking Dead: World Beyond S2, but both went OOS while I was shopping. Happy with my replacements though.
Lucky for me, Amityville 4K came back in stock briefly yesterday, so I was able to snag it.

Ugh not again. I ordered The Virgin Suicides 4K Criterion and The Cure on Blu-ray, and what does Target send? A DVD of Into the Deep and SpongeBob SquarePants Season 10. Could they be any further off?? This time I have to go through the hassle of returning them. Thankfully I have a UPS Store nearby, but it’s still a pain. Hopefully I can get the right sets.

It's likely they got the boxes mixed up and someone else got your order. No nearby store to make a return?

I guess I could’ve done that too and gotten a refund then place a new order. UPS Store is closer though. Plus I didn’t know they wanted me to return them until I went through the replacement process.

Do they often do that for 4Ks? I remember they did that for Chaos Walking but I don't check this thread very often.

If it is carried in-store, I think so. Highlander and Reservoir Dogs were recently.

15% off Circle offer for Prey for the Devil. Blu-ray version only.

$16.97 after price matching Amazon.

I have a new Target bonus offer, but it's laughable!

Make 4 qualifying purchases of $100 or more to earn a $30 reward

My wife doesn't have one this time...

I have Target Circle Offer for 1 out of 3 accounts and it was making two $100 purchases for $20, I already fulfilled it on the first day.

I was going to buy some eggs and the price of egg went from $5.99 for 18 to $6.99 in two weeks. Now I can only buy 3 boxes and I have to pay $1.

Looking forward to the next B2G1. I hope the next one is before April.

Mid February has been the only real reliable sale.

Around Washington's Birthday +-/ a week -- last year it was a week early, the other years it seemed to be timed to end on the Sunday before the holiday

Thanks. But I'm worried that Target is spacing the B2G1 so that the online stuff from previous B2G1 isn't returnable in the current B2G1. Most of the stuff from the last B2G1 in November are returnable in April. That's why I would be happy if they do B2G1 before April. But last year we had for the first time in three years that B2G1 was offered after return period for the previous B2G1 was over. After June 2022 I was hoping the B2G1 would be in October but it got pushed back to mid November so I couldn't return the stuff I bought in June. I know, that is the extreme pricematch. I buy a lot so usually there are stuff that are cheaper in the next B2G1. As always, I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

Thank you for understanding the name of the holiday is Washington’s Birthday!

Local Target has even fewer movies now in store. They used to have 1 aisle, but that has now been replaced by books and vinyls. There is now only 1 endcap(?), well it is more than a cap since it has all 4 sides at least. But still, even fewer movies, and even less of a reason to look for anything at my target. bummer.

My Targets have all been that way for some time now. I've long stopped even bothering to walk by the media section. Imagine the video game section has to be next. It's already pretty barren from an inventory standpoint.

My store even has less now too. They had a 3 sided display back by the groceries. I went there Saturday and it was only empty shelves and they weren't the movie shelves ones. So i don't know what's going there now.

It's nothing new. Both Best Buy and Walmart have drastically reduced floor space for movies for many years now. In the age of big data, they have easy way to figure the profit per sq ft. Target probably lost money allocating space to sell movies, so they are reducing the footprint.

My local Target only stocks new releases. But who is going to pay full price for new titles? What they should have done is stock the store with sale items. That way they don't have to pay shipping to customers. Bring more customers to the store to increase traffic just like what CVS and Walgreens are doing luring people with sale items.

Streaming companies are losing money too. You saw how Disney and Netflix are tanking. Other than Top Gun, the 2022 was a very bad year for the box office.

Don;t want to go down that road again -- one mid February holiday is as good as another.

Federal vs State vs Local observances as well as official federal statute vs Local Custom and Official Day off vs Sales event -- all the same to me in the end

The movie endcap that's kind of at the end of decorations by the grocery section has just been replaced with books at all of my local stores.

Books must be all on consignment.

The Studios may also have to go that route just to get their product into the stores or just rely on Online Sales.

Classical CDs were only in Tower Records because they were on consignment.
