Bestbuy.com finally allowed me to order it as a pickup in another location I couldn’t get to for Black Friday at the $20 price point. It was the last thing I needed for deals today so I’m very happy.

It is, but not from the OCN. Same crappy IP (or whatever) the old Blu used. Best version of JP is unfortunately the 3D disc. Which does come from OCN and is significantly more detailed and better looking than the UHD, but due to heavy DNR lacks a filmic look. This is the worst looking UHD I own.

Clearly you don't own The Bourne Identity.

That was an old consumer 8 bit SDR 1080p master made to look like it was 4k HDR. Truly horrific. And all they had to do was go back to the OCN for a fresh 4k or 6k scan. It's not like there was a ton of digital FX work to recomp.

That’s correct, I don’t own nor watch those movie. JP is in my top 10, so I take it more personally.

I did this too, but now it's a long wait to see if I can actually get it. I picked one store and later got an email that it wasn't available there. I've picked a 2nd location, and am waiting now (been a few hours now).

Amazon just matched Best Buy's $19.99 for the 4pack 25th Anniversary. Perfect timing because my local store was sold out.

Just ordered. I have the blu ray and DVD releases still. I should probably get rid of my DVD sets to make room for this.

What I wouldn’t give for a disc that uses the untouched scan used for the 3D release. I haven’t moved to 4K yet (3D for me) but this could potentially move me.

So I ordered this for $19.99 and I was lucky enough to score JW:FK 4K at Walmart for $8.96. Damn good prices.

Same here! I was bummed for a bit because Best Buy sold out and Target had it in store but wouldn't match. I ended up getting JWFK for $9 but when I got home, I received the notification from Amazon so I ordered right away knowing it's either a flash sale or will go out of stock.

I'm not sure why everyone's so excited to buy this set. I'm passing for the following reasons--

1] don't like digi book packaging for 4k discs (where they fit into sleeves). 4k discs are very sensitive and this could cause problems.

2] Jurassic Park 4k got universal "meh" reviews for PQ

3] Jurassic 3 got even worse universal reviews.

4] The Lost World sucks to begin with.

5] Jurassic World seems like a nice upgrade but I'm waiting for a stand alone release....

Australia got separate releases for all 4 so I just bought Jurassic World by itself. Won't bother with the others unless they remaster them.

I wanted to get this for $20 but yeah, after reading reviews this set isn’t that great transfer wise. I spent my money on other 4K deals that are pretty solid releases.

I just store them in the old packaging, problem solved there. I enjoy all four movies and at least three of them are worth the upgrade.

They ended up cancelling my order, even after they told me in a chat session that they would not.

Ended up writing a letter in and got a call yesterday that they would honor the price of the order. They had to call me back after getting everything setup, and during that time, it became unavailable again, so they gave me the 5 movie steelbook for the $19.99 price.
