Today I'm gonna do a run that hits at least four pawnshops. I've hit a few since my last post here but found nothing.

Been going to my local pawnshops for a couple years now they usually have 5 for 30 dollars and have pretty decent stuff and some still sealed

Went to 2 yesterday, didn't buy anything, but found the first 2 harry potter ultimate editions (in rough shape) and the 3rd one, which was just in a black and white looking book, without a box.. no idea what that was, but they were 3 for $20, and of course the usual slew of pawn shop crap like 200 copies of Dark Knight, Child's play, Harold and Kumar Guantanimo Bay .. etc...

picked up the Universal Monsters collection for $39.99 today.. not bad. just have to use goo gone on the edges of the disc to get rid of the glue that Universal's horrible packaging soiled

Only found two things for myself: Spring Breakers and It Came From Beneath the Sea (which wasn't there when I got the other two Harryhausens a week or two ago), both $3.99.

I also found a copy of Star Wars - Episode IV: A New Hope - Limited Edition DVD which I listed on Amazon.

I think they mean since Gravity doesn't officially come out to the end of this month. But someone in the post a picture of your haul thread said they spotted some at Walgreens early.

If these brand new/not even out yet movies are being sold for five bucks in a pawn shop, one wonders how much the thieves who sold them received as payment, like seventy-five cents? Hardly seems worth risking getting caught and prosecuted for shoplifting.

I'm starting to worry that my go to location is gonna dry up in regards to newer titles... They have thousands of catalog titles just littering this one corner of the store that they are probably not buying many newer titles, but seeing as they are trying to charge $4 for the older titles, it will continue to look that way. I snagged everything of value from those movies at that price point.
Don't think I've picked up anything from them this year...

Exactly what I'm thinking. Is it worth it to go through all that trouble? and for what really?
