Was either November or December. And it seemed to have been during a time that used to be a b2g1 sale.

They actually just did that, B1G1 50% sale mid OCT, then B2G1 mid NOV.

Are you sure it was the same product category? I don't recall the b1g1 50% off being for movies. I would have bought something and I don't see a single order.

I remember they did. I ordered Pearl and Nope at the start of October. And another one of Smile & Lyle, Lyle Crocodile.

According to my order history this is what I come up with as follows:

B2G1 sale was 6/12/22-6/18/22 (Books/Movies/Music/Games/Puzzles)
B1G150% off sale was 10/2/22-10/8/22 (Books/Movies)
B2G1 sale was 11/6/22-11/12/22 (Books/Games/Activity Kits)

I ordered a bunch of books during the October b1g1 50% off sale last year, and my order history lists the promo as "Buy 1 get 1 50% off books and movies" and then I ordered movies in the b2g1 sale for November.

However, this week's b1g1 50% sale is the same week as last year's b2g1 sale, so it's anyone's guess as to whether this is replacing the Feb b2g1 sale. In 2021 we had b2g1 sales in both Feb and March, and in 2020 in both Feb and April, whereas 2022 we had Feb and not again until June. So there are possibilities:

1. We're getting b1g1 50% off in Feb instead of b2g1, and then they're bringing back the b2g1 in either March/April this year.

2. The b1g1 50% is replacing last year's b2g1, and we won't get a b2g1 until June.

3. The b1g1 50% is replacing last year's b2g1, and we're getting another b1g1 50% instead of a b2g1 in June, and then the sole b2g1 for the year will be Black Friday/November.

4. b2g1's are just over

5. I don't know what I'm talking about.

Looks like they have disabled all the Criterion films. They look in stock until you click on them. Guessing this means they will not be part of this sale again.

Sale is live! I jumped on the pre-order for Midnight Run 4K since it technically shouldn't be included as part of the sale but currently is showing it's part of the promotion.

You referring to the TNG movies? They are, both individually and the box set.... for now.

I know in the past some titles that generally aren't supposed to be part of the sale, such as pre-orders, actually are. I recall in the past some were but then a few days later, weren't as if Target realized their mistake, but those who were able to get in on them early still managed to get their orders fulfilled. So if anyone sees any pre-orders they want, to jump on them sooner rather than later unless pre-orders are in fact officially part of this sale.

Looks like some of the Shout/Scream Factory preorders are included; it’s rare that I’ve seen these types of titles included. I crossed off several from my wishlist….
