Well I started flattening a couple of posters to prepare them for the flat-file
![]() ![]() Also I received this beauty today. I really need to get the variant to go with it ![]() [Show spoiler] Though in this next picture I'm not liking how the lines 'run' into the writing, though that may have been Whalens intention? ![]() [Show spoiler]

From wikipedia: "The cave stores unique memorabilia items collected from the various cases Batman has worked. Originally, these were stored in a room designed just for them; it was explained that Batman and Robin took one memento from each case. Later, the trophies were shown to be in the large main area of the cave, residing among the rest of the Batcave's furnishings. The most famous and prevalently featured are a full-size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex, a giant Lincoln penny, and an oversized Joker playing card. The T. Rex comes from an adventure on "Dinosaur Island" (Batman #35, 1946); the penny was originally a trophy from Batman's encounter with a penny-obsessed villain named the Penny Plunderer (World's Finest Comics #30, 1947). Other "keepsakes" in the cave come from "The Thousand and One Trophies of Batman!" (Detective Comics #158, 1950). These three stories were reprinted in Batman #256." |

Keep an eye on Craigslist (or Kijiji for the Canadians). I would also suggest creating a Wanted ad, that is what got the ball rolling for me. There was a few in Calgary for sale I sent messages to, though the one I actually picked up was a lady who responded to my ad. Good Luck and Good Hunting! ![]() |

Finally the news I've been waiting for
![]() Mark Englert's 'Thank my Lucky Star' Green Variant will be on sale shortly. The first 50 will be on sale this Saturday in NYC only at the Galleries 1988 closing show. So if anyone goes...you know who wants one ![]() Then the remainder will be on sale next week with the final 50 APs going on sale whenever he decides to release them. So that makes 100 something prints as I couldn't find a number anywhere. His APs are very cool, he does little sketches in the corners which makes me want to hold off for that. Though at the same time my chances are probably better if I attack the online sale next week. Here's the link |

Awesome score last week on ebay... The guy pretty much had no idea what he was selling. He was not a dealer, must have got a bunch of posters from his local theater over the years.
I got the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Drew Struzan version), the Harry silhoutte in smoke poster from Goblet of Fire, the group poster from Order of the Phoenix, and the Voldemort one from Order of the Phoenix for $25. All double-sided originals as near as I can tell. Not archival grade (probably 8-9 out of 10 each), but perfectly great to put in my collection for periodic display in my lightboxes. |

More of a question than anything else since I am really not a poster collector like so many of you here. Are Asian movie posters a rare thing? I just never seem to see any of them so I am just wondering if there is not much interest in collecting them?

http://www.emovieposter.com/ I'm pretty sure Kinsella doesn't sell a whole lot of them anymore as he has commented in the past that its just too much to try and inventory all the domestic US releases, never mind trying to track down all the international ones as well, but maybe he can shed some insight into how rare they may be. |
