My apologies, upon first glance it looked like they were tacked to the wall. One of the items there definitely looks like a thumb tack, but I see now they were items used to flatten the poster out.

Any feedback would be appreciated, my Stout Avengers is next to be processed into the Flat-File.
I use beanbags for flattening my posters.

Do you use a mylar to protect your prints inside the flat file?
I bought a couple of plastic sleeves, though I will definitely need more. I've got brown craft paper lining the bottom of the drawers with the mylar sleeves on top. The other 3 drawers will get paper lined eventually, I just need to buy more posters

I don't think I'll sleeve every single poster, as those sleeves are somewhat expensive. Currently I'm using Steelbooks as weights but my bean bags should be done next week hopefully!

Also, does anyone know where I can obtain an Avengers D/S movie poster (May 4th, not In Cinemas Soon...) for around 40 shipped? I can find a few for that price, but they always seem to carry a 20+ shipping charge

With the exception of going the eBay route and buying from someone on there who may not understand the importance of proper packaging and describing the posters' condition, poster-dealer wise, good luck. Most of the dealers, including myself, found it very difficult to get the final style for Avengers. While I was one of the few who was able to get the international finals style, the domestic was quite difficult which is why you are finding higher prices on the secondary market for them, and they will continue to increase over time as well.

If it's double sided it's probably real. Most reprinters don't go to the trouble of printing both sides.

3 is probably the easiest to come by. If he had 100 copies of Jurassic Park 1 for $20 each, then I'd say "fake"!

Mark Englert's "You are my Lucky Star" Green Variant is on sale now!

Can be bought here easily from my experience. If only Mondo releases were this simple

EDIT: Seems they are gone now.

The Gallery1988's website is tough to navigate. Without Mark tweeting a direct link to the poster I probably wouldn't have got it.

I am having a hard time believing any sellers on Ebay are selling originals as they claim to be..... well maybe there are some honest ones. Take this listing of Reign of Fire for example .... He claims he has MULTIPLE posters all in PERFECT condition from a movie 10 years old ??? He has like 9 posters of each of all the older movies he is selling all in MINT condition.... I do not buy it ...I think they are full of Sh#t..... What do you guys think...... I just wish Ebay would crack down on sellers passing off reprints as originals....

If you try to figure it out, it will drive you insane. As we discussed over PM, there are legit poster dealers on eBay, not many, but they do exist. That seller in question is legit to my knowledge too, he has been in the business for many years. I could go on in more detail, but I will close this posting by saying....If you have a hard time believing someone has multiple copies of a poster such as Reign of Fire in mint condition, which isn't a very sought after poster, then you would have a heart attack if you saw what I have.

I have a few questions. I just recently bought a house and have been making the basement my home theater movie room. I wanted to know what sites people here trust to buy good quality reprints of posters? I don't need an original poster what matters to me more is that it looks good so a good quality reprint is fine but some sites sell faded overpriced reprints.

I also wanted to know where people buy their poster frames? I bought like 7 at IKEA when they had these nice black frames but they since stopped selling them and my plexiglass poster protector in the frames are scratched up from poor handling during one of my many moves. My plan is to go to Lowes and have them cut out some plexi glass for me to match my 27 x 40 poster frames.

Well i guess you do not have to work at a Movie Theater to be able to obtain these Originals Movie Posters..... They must be giving them away somewhere in mass quantities...... I was under the impression that original movie posters were printed in a limited number and sent to Theaters to promote and show what movies will be playing or are playing and then destroyed or given away.... Obviously there are other ways to get them which i am not aware of........ Unless i go to the Theater and get a poster directly from them i will always be skeptical of a poster that i purchase (unless it's from you of course) I am getting about 500 original posters (250 are coming today) and the rest are coming in about 2 weeks.... I have been checking the prices of posters mostly on Ebay where i want to sell some of my posters and the prices are ridiculously low on claimed original posters... that will make selling my posters at a decent price tough.
