Porky's and Porky's II: The Next Day own this category.

I like American Pie and American Pie 2. However, the excessive number of sequels (there are now six sequels to American Pie-making for seven American Pie movies overall) massively ruins the first two American Pie movies for me (American Pie and American Pie 2 are the only ageless movies in this series).

However, as comedies in general, both American Pie and American Pie 2 are very inferior to Porky's, Porky II: The Next Day, Animal House, Cheech and Chong’s Up In Smoke, The Cannonball Run, Smokey and The Bandit, Friday (1995 with Ice Cube and Chris Tucker), Next Friday and, to a somewhat lesser extent, Friday After Next.

You can't count the 3 direct-to-video American Pie movies as part of the original American Pie series. They just took the name and Eugene Levy (never met a role he turned down). I just got done re-watching the American Pie movies again and I don't mind American Wedding.

I was never a huge fan of the Porky's movies. I didn't mind the orignal, but didn't really like the sequel. I've never been a big fan of Cheech and Chong movies, and I didn't like the Friday sequels without Chris Tucker, who I don't really like but who was great in Friday.

I love movies or shows that involve any or all of the following:

Monster (Alien tetralogy, Predator, Jaws)
Disaster/End of the World (Knowing, The Day After Tomorrow, and hopefully 2012)
Space (Star Trek 2009)
Time Travel (Star Trek: Fist Contact, Back to the Future)
Supernatural/Magic (The Haunting, Harry Potter)
Sci-Fi Action (Transformers, I, Robot)
Superhero (Iron Man, Spiderman, Batman Begins, TDK, The Incredible Hulk)
Vampire/Werewolf (Underworld trilogy, An American Werewolf in London, Blade trilogy)

Mine are time traveling and end-of-the-world type movies. Don't know why but it seem like I never get sick of watching those type of movies. Time traveling movies are intriguing to me. Guess superheroes movies are up there too.

Anything British including violence, crime, genuine accents, carefully selected clothes and run-down city scenery. Alcohol or substance abuse is an added bonus!

Examples: Lock Stock, Football Factory, Rise of the Footsoldier, Clubbed and many, many more.

Movies where it starts at a particular point, and the rest of the movie shows how it got to that point. (ex. The Hangover)

Historical Epics, Fantasy and Sci-Fi.

I also like villians whose goals don't seem that evil when you think about them(Watchmen).

I also like 'the hero and villain work together to defeat the bigger threat' idea
