If I find it on the shelf one day for like $10 I think I'd honestly have a hard time passing it up, even if I wouldn't watch it that often

Still not good enough, but it's alright. I do think it'll go on sale for pretty cheap someday though like Transformers did.

Some time over the next year I'm sure it will be VERY cheap in a sale somewhere.

Next Black Friday at worst.

Little doubt there, unless the economy completely implodes by then. You'll have it someday.

This is a definite day one purchase for me. It was fun, didn't take itself too seriously, and no dogs humping.

The only thing I wish they'd have nixed was the silly Jason X mask Cobra Commander wore.
[Show spoiler]I actually prefered him as the Doctor and hoped he would have been a modernized Doctor Mindbender (he even had the monocle) and someone else revealed as Cobra Commander and wearing the mirrored helmet if not the hood. Of course the bunker flashback and the scene in the mini sub dashed such hopes.

If the projector was in focus then you were seeing the movie in 2K which is more then "Full HD".

Yeah. If anything, the CGI should mesh better with the live action elements thanks to the lower resolution of 1080p.

There's no hope the lighting, textures and animation can't by lower resolution this time.

Check out Land of the Lost...I Thought the movie was funny as hell, but wow really bad bluescreen and CGI work on that one. I'd still recommend seeing it as Ferrell and McBride are hillarious and theres a lot more "adult" humour then the ads had you belived (why universal chose to hype this as a kids movie is anyones guess, but probabaly the reason why it was this summer's biggest Box office bomb)

As for GI joe, i Liked it a lot, its was non stop action and a perfect popcorn flick, and honestly i'm more likley to throw this on then say something like the godfather... does that make it a better film? No way in hell, but it's more fun and a better movie to watch when you just wanna be entertained for 2 hours while you pig out on candy or something

I heard crap reviews about this movie but reading that all of you will pick it up, is making me interested in watching it. I heard its none stop action which is good when I'm not in the mood to think.
I'll prolly rent it when it comes out and if I like it, I will pick it up when it drops in price.

It's not as bad as it's being told, I tought it was fun. Of course don't go in expecting great dialogue and wonderful character development But it's a fun movie to watch certainly way better then I tought it was going to be. I just had such a hard time with the CGI, I tought it was horrible

following what's been said.... I actually enjoyed the scenes between storm shadow and snake eyes... BANANAS!!! and the ladies in the movie, OMG !!! anyway, I will buy it if I can get it for under $15....so far, for crazy reasons I've been able to preorder blus for about $15 or less(Gladiator, Braveheart, Texas Chainsaw, Contact), If I can land Transformers 2, GI Joe and Star Trek for that amount, I think Ill be set for the rest of the year...
