Default ZODIAC is a modern classic!!!

This movie is a masterpiece. From the recreation of the time period to the fantastic cinematography, the film was a pure delight.Very well acted and great direction from one of modern cinema's most gifted director. The films scope(2.39:1)aspect ratio is going to be a wonder on Blu-ray.Cant wait to see it.Double dip for me for sure.Movieeddie.

I really liked this movie, and I just found out that it isn't a Paramount title in Scandinavia. It's a Warner title with the releasedate September 25th and Warner means "no region".

ooohh oo hoo... Face/Off isn't Paramount either, it's from Buena

(Having already seen it once or twice on 1080-HD broadcast, thanks to said cable-tuner glitch: )

"Seven" was Art, this one's just a good historical police-procedural:
Doesn't really ramp up until after the first hour, after the case has been closed, and our main character tries to dig up the cold case...And then makes a few creepy and well-explained leads.
Still, even in a mega-ensemble cast, it reminds you just how darn good an actor Robert Downey Jr. can be when sober...Mostly.

Only complaint is that Zodiac's "terrifying" police-taunt letters today sound uncannily like unimaginative attention-struck Howard-Stern-fan high-school-stoner trolls on Usenet, right down to the movie-cliche's, self name-franchising ("I want to see Zodiac buttons!"), and borrowed news-headline button-pushing--
When we see various suspects revealed, our first reaction is "No way!...This guy was supposed to be over 30??"

(Oh, and rent "Master & Commander" immediately afterwards--
It's no "The Bounty", but it's pretty darn good in widescreen.)

I just looked it up, Zodiac is distributed by Warner Bros. in most countries across Europe. So there is definitely a chance it will hit Blu-ray over there. Hopefully the director's cut!

You will not be able to get Zodiac in HD unless you have HD DVD because it's Paramount.

It will hit Blu-ray, as I wrote it's coming next month.

Read Banjo's quote... being as internationally it's distributed by Warner rather than Paramount there's a very good chance it'll hit sures in Europe on BD and probably Japan as well which would mean that you'd be able to import it still to the US..

HD DVD owners have done this sort of thing for ages.. now it's our turn to work the system..

So boring, so dragging and it's definitely not worth it. A film that sucks so bad that it is even worse than 'crap'. The entire middle part of the film was so dragging (with boring dialogue) and heck, there were only three scary scenes in it. Heck, Master and Commander is even better than this cheap film job.

Simply put, THE most boring film of the year (almost as boring as Bloodrayne)

I completely disagree to say the least and the fact that you even place a film like "Zodiac" in the same sentence as "Bloodrayne" is just ridiculous.
