I thought JVC made really nice high-end projectors.

Yes, apparently they do, Shady...I should have been clearer and said JVC audio products, which I don't think there are too many of nowadays, are there? Didn't they go the way of Kenwood in home audio?

Here's mine from the 1950's.
Needs a little work, a dial, and a new grill.
im wondering if you can still hook up the digital tuner to this?

Also had a bad experience with our Philips HDTV,after a year the power supply decided to just stop working,,,funny enough, just after the warranty expired,,typical.

How'd the speaker get kicked in? Jets, Mets, or Knicks?

Bose and does Monster count? Other than that, I have been pretty happy or lucky with everything I have purchased.

I don't avoid specific brands. But I do my homework before I purchase.

I avoid anything that isn't Tier 1. Tier 2 and 3 brands don't back up warranties very well.

Bose, Monster, LG, and all the cheap Wal-mart/Target brands....I also personally do not like Samsung's HDTVs

Although unpopular I will no longer buy Samsung Electronics of any kind. I have had troubles with them in the past and have a tainted view of them now. I have had a TV that I returned due to image issues. I have also had cell phones that had problems.

Because of the facts presented here on Blu-ray.com I will no longer look at BOSE as anything special either.
