Lost in Space - Canada

If you have the heart of a child then I am sure you will really love this Lost in space, but I think that some are too adult for this type of movie, but it is got the same style of fun that comic books, Ray Harryhausen, and Irwin Allen used to serve up. Nothing earth shattering, but fun. A lot of the characters are far more interesting than they used to be too.

There are presently 2 versions of this movie in Canada. A new one that has a 1080p transfer with special features (Same as the US release - expect the front cover says Special Edition), and the original release which you found that says 1080i and has no special features. There is also a cost difference. The 1080i has gone for more than $20 where as the new special edition is only $15.99 at amazon.ca / HMV / Bestbuy.

My suggestion is to try looking for it at Bestbuy or HMV, HMV can order a copy for you, but you must specifically ask for the Special Edition. You could also get it from amazon.ca which might be easier. Up to you.

no menus, extras and 1080i = the old version, not the special edition

Help! There are 3 versions of this BD available on Amazon.ca. Can someone tell me which one is the SE? There's 3 different prices.
