I agree go for the V10. As an owner of a 50 inch 800U I'm extremely happy with it. I even hadn't had a problem playing 24p from my Oppo BDP-83. That being said I would love trading in my Panel for a new 54 or 58 inch V10( I want to go larger)

Thumbs up

Last weekend my wife and I ordered the Panasonic V10 54 inch - it's poetry in motion!

My next upgrade will probably be a 65" plasma.

It really is the most beautiful looking display I've seen so far - the way the glass goes right to the edge and to within 1cm of the top is just gorgeous.

Love the way the bezel is hidden...it's like those swimming pools with no edges...just gorgeous.

Did you get it yet? How do you like it so far? I'm having a hard time deciding 54V10 or pioneer 5020. I like the 54 for its size.

The endless pool is what I think of when I look at it too.

You'd think reflections would be a lot bigger problem, but the anti-glare coating does a nice job when there's an image on the screen.
