I think most of the ones I thought of have been covered, but if they're not going to put any effort into restoring them for BD, then I won't buy them.

I suppose it's my fault, I should have clarified that the movie 'classics' I'm talking about are from the 70's and further back. Kind of like Criterion Films.

I am shocked, yes shocked, that noone has mentioned Wings (1927)!

To add my full two cents, I'd also have to mention the Howard Hawks original version of The Dawn Patrol (1930) with Douglas Fairbanks.

Neither title has ever made it on to DVD, and I simply refuse to understand why!
