Default 14 Disney Classics announced for Blu-ray release

http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/te...-60817672.html

This page also features what appears to be the cover art for the UK Blu-ray of Beauty and the Beast. Seems a bit soon to be deciding this, as it's not out until late 2010, and Fantasia is coming out next year before it. Some of the information on here isn't quite right (it doesn't start with Snow White because Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio are on the featured list and have already been released on Blu) but if the list of films posted is correct, then I'm very excited about some of these upcoming Blu-ray discs. Will definitely be getting Fantasia, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King on first day of release.

It's been mentioned in the Snow White thread that that Beauty and the Beast box art is fan made.

Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio at the end of the list is correct: they may have been released on Blu-ray already, but they were as part of the last Platinum titles. They are still part of the rotation, now called Diamond rather than Platinum. Double dips always have a different title than the last time before it. Pinocchio will have gone from Gold to Special to Platinum to Diamond.

The B&B cover art was fan made for a thread on Ultimate Disney.

Anyway, yay for Disney classics on Blu! Excited most for The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Fantasia.
