Toy stories did relatively poor in foreign box offices when compared to many movies which are close to the top of the list of highest total grossing movies like ratatouille, Wall-e, Up, Finding Nemo, The Lion King and Ice Age 3 Dawn of the dinosaurs, and the continuation of these trend which is probably going to be the main reason as to why it will not be in the top 5 list by the end of its run.

Foreign box office succsess is absolutely importanat if TS wants to be somewere on the top of that list, which is unlikely.
Preferences differences are pretty evident between USA/rest of world when looking at their foreign/domestic grosses, and it came to as absolutely no surprise to me (a foreigner) that movies like Ice Age 3 .......... grossed so much abroad, as they are my most favorite movies as well.

I predict Toy Story 3 will hover between the Ice Age 3 and Shrek 2 worldwide gross. It will gross over $400M domestically but will probably fall a little short of Shrek 2 final domestic take. Internationally it will not beat Ice Age 3 $690M. It will however probably be the highest gross of 2010. The only movie that may be able to overtake Toy Story for 2010 is Twilight Eclipise. But I could be wrong.
