Default Toy Story 3 (vs Shrek 2 & Ice Age 3) Box-Office

Will Toy Story 3 beat all other animated feature film's box-office both domestically and internationally?

I had no clue until I looked it up that Ice Age 3 had done that well. My goodness.

For reference:

Shrek 2: 919,838,758
Ice Age 3: 874,393,772

Both are very lofty and 1 and 2 respectively for an animated film all-time at the box office worldwide. I'm going to say it falls short of both even though I'm of the opinion that it has a broader audience and is more beloved than both of those.

Some clarification:

International Box Office = Non-USA Box Office

If there's a movie that can change those numbers, Toy Story 3 has to be the one. The first two are still pretty popular (the 3D re-release numbers were pretty good too) and a new chapter actually made by Pixar can only be good.

I'm predicting it'll be the first animated film to cross the $1 Billion mark.

I have a feeling that Toy Story 3 is going to end up the highest grossing animated movie of all time. Or at least pretty close to it.

Come on, the re-release first 2 movie have been in the top ten for 2 weeks now, and these two films have been out for years.

3 will not only have stopping power, I reckon it will be the highest grossing film of next year, I'm talking crazy figuers.

I would like it to break both, but I vote that it won't. Pixar just isn't a powerhouse over seas. It isn't even on the same field as Ice Age when it comes to international numbers. No one is, there is something crazy going on there.

It will be in the top 10, maybe top 5 grossing films for the year, but it won't beat Shrek 2's domestic, or Ice Age 3's international.

I believe it'll beat both movies. If it falls short I'll be surprised

I don't think it'll break either (or even get close), but I would love for it to do so.

But hey, what do I know, I thought Avatar wouldn't make it to $900M.
There might be more built up fan desire to see it than I think their is.
All I know is I'll be there either opening day or at Midnight.

TS 3 will be a complete domestic and foreign box office failure.

Will not pass 50 million mark of total gross in all its run.
