Assume you're referring to BBtS, although Piranha was also one of John Sayles' first B-movie scripts, the first time he collaborated with young trailer-editor Joe Dante...

ill definitely pick this up but i wish shout would release Humanoids from the Deep on blu-ray since they are putting it out on dvd (finally) and Galaxy of Terror while theyre at it

Humanoids came out on DVD around 10 years ago. It's been out of print for a long time though. Hopefully Shout will give it the Blu treatment too.

It's just been delayed and it now comes out on August 3rd (my birthday) to coincide with the remake that's also been pushed back and I will definitely be blind buying this after seeing the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoCKGvVlNYM

I e-mailed Shout Factory yesterday for confirmation and they told me it is in fact being released on August 3rd on Blu-ray and DVD

I was at Best Buy last nite and noticed that the DVD copy of Piranha comes with a lenticular cover.

Another BD title that is in a better format yet gets the worst case haha.

Over at AVManiacs Cliff Mac has posted they couldn't do the lenticular for the Blu-Ray because of the cover size difference. If they shrank down the cover, the effects would be less effective. Source

That is good to know. Yeah the cover seemed to maybe need that sizing... it was kind of cool.
