How is splitscreen? Is it playable? In Resistance 2 you have black bar and it's hardly playable, maybe my TV is too small(46"). And in Modern Warfare 2 splitscreen, is there a feature that enable the 2nd player to connect with his own PSN ID?

I had no problem playing it on my 46", there's a black bar though IIRC. Not sure if each person can login using their own PSN ID.

Unreal Tournament 3 does indeed have a campaign where a friend can join you. I love that game!

Also, the LOTR Conquest has pretty epic good and evil campaigns where co-op is available (the campaigns are the ONLY good thing about this game haha).

The games i like that are co op offline...resistance FOM like everyone else of course....call of duty w@w nazi zombies....little big planet...madden 10 or nba live 10...resident evil 5...all of those are really fun to play together.

And resistance FOM when it first came out was alot of fun...offline co op..campaign...and online all of it...very solid title..I wish they wouldve kept the offline co op in resistance 2...even tho people say the offline co op in resistance FOM didnt make sense most people didnt care it was all about working and playing together...If anyone has ever played games like halo or halo 2...the second player really never got mentioned or cared about in the co op...but nobody cared they just played and liked working together.

Resident evil 5 is a good co op if your looking for something that makes more sense tho. But resistance was more fun at the time IMO. Take in condsideration its a older game. (wish they wouldve added a trophy patch for it )

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has split-screen co-op for both the story mode and the Terrorist Hunts.

That really doesnt bother me at all with that major plot gap. I think being able to play the single playe campaign with a friend local or online is fun. Its a shame more games dont do this.

Thanks for the recommendations.

We ended up taking turns playing Killzone 2's campaign, and then switched to Spec Ops in MW2, and the hours flew by.

The Bomb Squad one is a pain on veteran.
