the flipside of the insert says "Get the most from HDTV with movies in high definition!" and there's another pic of 300 and there's also a pic of Blue Planet Imax and a screen shot of Warner's high def website"

It looks like it is in the Canadian copies only. I am Canadian and live in Vancouver BC -- all you Canucks, check your copies of 300 and please be so kind to post your insert (in color) confirming this V for Vendetta release.

If any of you are in doubt, please set aside your reservations. I will gladly mail this actual insert to Josh, but would appreciate if someone else who has the Canadian version of this release can colour scan and save me some postage (check -- your copy of 300 will say "Dubbed in Quebec" in the Audio specs)...

I s%$! you not guys; this is for real...

Default Good news

This is great news, looking forward to this movie, hopefully we wont have to wait too long for it. Now if we could get them to announce batman begins...maybe they will release both on the same day? that would be incredible

Something tells me they were supposed to wait to put that in, because even if you say that the "In Stores Now" banner only applies to movies underneath it, Troy is not yet out on BD, though it's due in September.

No idea; I use FireFox. Sounds like a pop-up that your pop-up blocker isn't taking care of.

I've seen Sin City promos on every disney BD movie with nothing and have seen Bad Boys II promo's on every sony disk since the beginning of time.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but my interest is piqued.

fair enough, but to date Warner hasn't even given us a glimpse of this one. I'm sure they'll deliver. V for Vendetta in high def garners very high reviews - there's a lot of money Warner's been leaving on the table with this one...

Don't worry - it will be on Blu-ray this year.

Also these movies, V for Vendetta, Batman Begins, Troy, The Perfect Storm, Terminator 3, Poseidon, etc., will all have lossless audio when they hit Blu-ray.

I think you're right. It was probably supposed to be used later in the year when all the titles were in stores.

Road Warrior and The Fountain are already out in the top line.
