CZAR you should do the seeding in order of what movies got the most votes and go down the line

You should make sure to put something like PICK 7 in the titles of the threads, since I'm sure at least one person won't read the instructions and vote for the wrong amount.

Edit: Example, the superhero thread.

73 voters should equal to 511 votes.

Yet...there are 588 votes.

77 extra votes from people who didn't follow the rules.

Totally agree & I'm especially looking forward to the SciFi, Drama and War categories. Oh, I didn't notice, was a Sports film category included as a separate or will that fall under various categories? Just a thought if it wasn't mentioned.

I say we need a foreign film section and please put the original 1954 Godzilla film in that section if you do one.

I am finishing up the last category which is Drama/War films. Since its peobebly the biggest category and most influential, I am gonna follow the march madness formula. Some conference get more teams in then others based on the strength of the conference and since this seems to be the biggest genre combination I am gonna allow the top 9 vote getters to advance instead of 7!

I was gonna have the top 7 from each of the 9 categrories advance which wouldve given us 63 movies and then have 2 wildcard movies for 64 & 65 for the play in round. I will still have the play in round but instead of the 2 wildcard movies I will just take 9 from the Drama/War category and then out of the 65 movies the bottom 2 vote getters will be in the play in round. Well treat the Drama/War category like the Big East Conference in college hoop as it usually gets the most teams in. Haha! Thoughts? Got Em!!

I like your thinking. Drama is the strongest category.

I applaud your efforts in setting all of this up. Even though I have made a couple of comments asking why certain films were left out, there would have been a riot if I had been choosing the nominees

Yes there is. Check the romance/musical thread. It doesnt have a lot of musicals but there are some there. Cant wait for the overall results. Appreciate the comment also man. Got Em!!

Its a field of 65 and thats how its broken up to get the right amount of movies for the toruney. Got Em!!
