Me and two friends all decided to watch Hancock tonight at 10:30 PM. All agreed to show up around 10:15 PM.
I show up around 10:15. I buy my ticket. I wait. At 10:30, neither of them are there. My cell isn't working at all, in or out of the theater(found out later I had to turn it off and on). I scope out inside the theater. It's mostly empty. Decide to sit down and wait. I already bought the ticket, I drove all the way to the theater. I don't know why they aren't there and if they're coming. I sat down right near the entrance to the movie. I was the only guy in the row. After the movie I call and they were all pissy that I went in without them when they apparently arrived at 10:35, then not seeing me waited for me assuming i was late until 11:15. I figure common sense... you wait for people until the movie starts, at which point... you either meet up in the theater if you can without being distracting to others, as in... spotting them. Or you meet up after. You don't wait out in the lobby after the movie has started. People on time already have their tickets most likely and don't know if late people are even coming. |

I usually wait for my friends, and if they are late, I tear them a new one after the movie, if the movie sucks, I say nothing

YUP... i mean, its not as fun going alone (thats why you make plans with people in the first place) but if they aren't gonna stick to the plans too bad, go to the movie and let them figure the rest out

I was supposed to meet some friends for a movie one time. I had my ticket, the show was starting, and no friends so I ended up watching the movie by myself. I came out afterwards and they're sitting outside (they were way late and didn't go in). They offered apologies and payed for me to see the film twice in a row. That's the story of how I got to see "Look Who's Talking " twice in one day. I'm a lucky guy.
