Yep, I can remember back when "Dual-format LG players" and "Dual-sided TotalHD disks", and other such antiwar draft-dodging technology, were going to bring peace to this "equal stalemate"--

Warner's heart was in the right place supporting TotalHD disks, but apparently they took a little too long and a little too much recoupable R&D money to develop.
