I bought the similar version of this TV at Best Buy yesterday for the Black Friday price of $797 - with a 2yr warranty.

Although it was only one night of viewing - I love the picture quality. I never really knew the HUGE difference between 720p and 1080p, but since switching to the 1080p LN46C600 I am a believer.

I will enjoy watching all of my Blu's again in full HD 1080p. And the motion plus looks awesome too with games and whatnot. Although, when it's on while watching LOST it looks hilarious (like a soap opera - or behind the scenes film)

Getting it tomorrow. I had no idea they sold them early until I went in to just look at the TV today. Plus I left with The Expendables and Shutter Island. Got Shutter for $14.99 because some employee misplaced all the Shutters with a 14.99 sale price tab, which is actually how much the DVD costs right now. Anyway, I was in a different city, so I'll be getting my Samsung from my BB. I also had no idea that companies release special holiday season tvs, which the sales rep told me this is. There is no retail price for it. Its reg price is the 799.

EDIT: I should add that I was referring to the model that dcremuno was talking about. It's basically the same tv, but little bit lower contrast ratio and lower price.

Guys, I bought the C600 last Wednesday right before Thanksgiving. I had to return it once since there was a issue with the right side of the panel which looked faded. The price of $799 is what made me jump all over this model. I'm debating taking back the 600 for either the C630 or C670.

If a LCD has a difference of 20,000-50,000:1 contrast ratio from a higher end model in that same class.......can 20,000-50,000 alone make a big difference? I am coming from a 1080p 50" DLP, so some of this stuff is new to me.

600 - 100,000:1 or 120:000:1 (Best Buy has it listed as 120,000, while other sites including Samsung have it listed as 100,000:1) = $800

630 - 120,000:1 = $900

670 - 150,000:1 = $1,099 (this was on sale last week for $999, I can wait for it to go on sale again.)

The difference between the 600 and 630 is probably not that big I take it, but from the 600 to 670 would seem like a huge jump.

Since my previous post - I still love this TV. It looks great - nice and bright when it needs to be, and provides excellent blacks when needed (not as deep as my plasma - but plenty sufficent). The Smooth feature on it is fantastic - for some media - for instance, Sports looks great and so do video games - but old episodes of Seinfeld look off and jittery.

There are white areas on the TV in the background that are simply the lighting of the TV itself. The CCFL Backlighting is notorious for this, and it is honestly NOT an issue for me.

I’m torn between three models

46C630 – 46C530-46C650

Aside from the 120 hz, is there a significant difference in PQ?

I know on paper they have different dynamic contrast ratios but we all know that is not regulated or accurate.

Any comments on the PQ of each of these?

Didn't want to make a new thread so I figured I would ask this in here.

Is Samsung still a really good brand now days?

I've had my 46" Samsung TV for about 5 years now. It's starting to have problems where a lot of colored lines pop up occasionally. I thought it was my HDMI cord being pinched over time but my TV is actually starting to s*** out on me.

I'm looking at buying a 65" UHD Samsung and just wondered what some of your opinions are.

Here's a link to one I'm currently looking at. http://www.fingerhut.com/product/NJQ5Z.uts?cat=50

I'm assuming I can still use my PS4 to play regular Blu-rays right? I know I would need an entirely new player for the few movies I have that are UHD.
