I will only buy Paramount movies on Blu-ray. I am also going to try to avoid Paramount movies in the theater.

However, I may import some Paramount Blu-rays from other countries that are released on Blu-ray.

I think I'll just rent this...HD download from Comcast or something.

I was debating buying it on DVD, but since I'll buy the eventual BD release anyway...why bother.

Standard will tide me over until its released in Blu-Ray. I liked the movie too much not to get it.

Definitely NOT buying it until on BD. Renting via Netflix until then.

well i already have HD-DVD, so no point not buying it really. gutted no lossless track though, that has me down as not in a rush to get it, but will see.

I was all excited until Paramount announced Blu Ray only for the next 1.5 years. I was going to get it on DVD the first day now I am having second thoughts. I will probably buy another Blu Ray instead and rent Transformers what is the use of buing it twice. Message to Paramount I am not made of money, so your only getting my cash for a disc once, and that's Blu Ray.

Sadly, I think you meant to say "...HD-DVD only for next 1.5 years.

Sorry, I'll be buying for my 10 yr old on SD. He could care less about format wars right now. And rightly so.
