You mean things like The Rundown and U-571 not looking any better on VC-1 HD DVD ....than they already did on MPEG-2 D-vhs right?

I'll have to take your word for it. I never owned a DVHS title nor saw one unfortunately.

They look about the same from dvhs to vc-1 probably because they didn't remaster it really they just changed the codec thats the thing is that most of these movies aren't being remastered so they look like crap because they were orginaly done for dvd as more and more consumers buy into HD discs then they will begin to remaster them and release them so that they look very good in HD
