hehe ok jeez i feel bad keeping this thread alive.

but i got I believe one last question.

what are peoples opinions on acoustic research products?

I seen a set that seems to have impressive numbers on paper but am having trouble finding some to listen to. gonna hit up tweeter tomorrow tho.

Well in the world off home audio acoustic research is resepected as much as sony recevers, lol. So good luck i know they carry them because the are re-manufactured for tweeter by focal or somethig i forget. I hope you choose well. Dont let our opinions fool you we all hear different things.

yeah damnit i went to tweeter and the focal's didnt soudn all to amazing to me. I swear to god im about to bang my head against a steel pole at this rate.

orb audio.

unbelievable sound from something so small. I have been using these for a weeks and they sound better than anything else i've ever used (not to mention my neighbor's home theatre that cost 3x more... he won't admit he's jealous but i can see it in his eyes :0)

do some searching on google as their are a number of reputable reviews out.

I got some Definitive Technology ones from Best Buy's Magnolia Store. They're a bit pricy but well worth it. Amazing sound.

I did some research on Fluance and it seems they're really making a name for themselves in the home audio world. And they're very inexpensive for the kind of quality they offer. You might as well go with them as you can practically get an entire speaker setup for around a thousand dollars. Now that's a deal.

By the way, you're not gonna be able to check them out at retail store because it seems they're pretty exclusive to selling online.
