You've been beta testing for HD-DVD. Its storage and bandwidth have proven insufficient. There's an argument to be had about BDs incomplete profile situation, but its only an argument; the apparent fact is that superior picture and sound are ultimately more important to the HD experience than anything else---at least, that's the only conclusion I can come to based on the behavior of the studios and the consumers. It sucks to be an early adopter.
It must really suck to be a cheap early adopter.

BD DOES have their shit together. It's the DVD Forum who are running around chasing their tails. It's all but over for DUD. There is about to be a blu tidal wave int he next three months of which HD-DVD will not recover from.

Talk about beta testing...Talk to me when you have to buy a new player for your HD-DVD movies that are on the so called 51gb discs. HD-DVD was rushed to market and is also incomplete in so many ways and you have bought into it.

Read my post again. I didn't say anything personally about you.

I said your statements were idiotic and illogical. Everyone, including myself is guilty of the same thing on different topics. This happens to be one where you are not thnking clearly.

I apoligize if you took my words the wrong way. But I still do not udnerstand the purpose of coming here to become upset or to upset others. That is not why I go to a forum.

Edit: OK forget being nice now. You're a moron and I withdraw my apology. I am reading your posts and they are all trolls. You are not a person of reason who deserves any type of respect by others.

It's like he's saying..."oh but I am a nice troll that goes around destroying threads but not calling anyone names". There's nothing nice about doing that. He has the nerve to play it up like he's a virgin nun from Calcutta.

" Predicted Response from Paramount and HD-DVD Zealots "

As we have seen, the predicted response is more trolls will show up here signed into their bogus accounts. Anyone who goes over there to rub it in their faces is only going to bring it back here.

It's our bat and ball. Let's stick to playing on our field.

Until then I will NOT pay money to beta test for Sony.
here's the deal, hddvd does not have their shit together. their players and media are piss poor with multiple freezes, syncing issues, bad load times etc. i don't know of a single blu-ray device that has issues like this (edit: 1st gen players might be slow, but don't take 5 minutes just to boot). hdvd is the product that is redoing their spec for tl51 discs that will make current players obsolete. i think it is the red camp that has a lot more shit to gather than blu-ray. as for players under 300, the closest thing is the add-on. afaik, not one single player is under 300 unless it is on closeout (see walmart) or is discontinued.
