I see with the Monster HDMI cables, there is a little booklet for getting a free BD movie, a free BD demo disc, and five 10% off coupons when you buy two BD movies...

No kidding. But when you have two little kids screaming to see Cars in HD on the new HDTV, what can one do?

That or maybe send out those demo discs that show a comparison between SD and hi-def. I think it would be helpful to do something along those lines and including SM3 in the 40gig edition is a step in the right direction. I recently discovered a co-worker that had a PS3 and hadn't tried any blu-rays b/c he didn't think there would be much of a difference. So, I loaned him the Planet Earth series, Casino Royale and few others. He was impressed so hopefully he'll start buying blu-rays. The point is though, he hadn't really been following hi-def media, format-war, etc. and didn't realize the improvement to be had. So, anything to get the word out can only help.
