I didn't know that prior to seeing the movie, but as I was watching the movie and Slappy talked more, I could tell that it was Jack.

One thing that sorta took me out of it was Black as the voice of him.

See, I feel the complete opposite. I thought it was really cool that he was the voice of Slappy. Slappy kinda looked like Jack a little bit in the movie, which I'm not sure if the director intended for that, but I thought that was pretty cool.

For fans of the original 90s tv series (and if you own a region free or region 2 european player):

They finished the series on SD video (titles, intro CGI), sadly it will never look better, I pre-ordered it because I don't want DVDs, BDs hold longer:

You'd also have to make sure you can handle 50hz content if that bit about it being 576i is true.

Best Buy will have it for 19.99 for 2D with a book and 24.99 for the 3D not sure about Walmart and Target

Do you think that BB will include the book with the 3D BD as well? I know when TASM2 came out, they had a comic book exclusive for both 2D and 3D versions.

Grabbed this one even though I'm trying to hold off for 4K now, read all the Goosebumps books back in the day. Movie was surprisingly well done!

Definitely picking this up in 3D today. As time goes on and 3D releases become sparser and sparser, im always happy when there is one that's a movie I am actually excited about.
