I don't think it's clear what packaging the UK release has at all. If it's like Band of Brothers or The Pacific, there's no reason to suspect the UK won't get the tin. I think the more concerning thing on the UK side is the pre-order price, which seems to be nearly double the US one! But hopefully that will come down between now and November...

The current UK Amazon product image might be a placeholder but it's not the same as the tin shown in post one. Time will tell.

Haven't seen this show, but show seasons on 4K UHD is something I'm definitely interested in.

Very timely that today I installed an Oppo udp-205 to replace my (beloved) Panasonic dmp-ub900 in order to achieve Dolby-Vision capability ... man that 205 is a beast!

Wow! The first television release on 4k. This is a pretty big moment!

It's very good and very clever but you have to stick with it. Think of the entire first series as one episode.

It seems strange that the BD configuration is 2xBD-50/1xBD-25, when the UHD configuration is 3xBD-100. You'd think it would follow that the Blu-ray presentation is 3xBD-50, unless, of course, some of the extras are UHD-exclusive, or the UHD contains several more (or more lossless) language options.

Not that I'm complaining, even as someone who isn't watching 4K yet, if WB is going to show preference, then I'd prefer it was to the UHD discs.

And of course. this is a day one purchase.

I think that placeholder has been there a while, but I take your point. Here's hoping! Also, assuming the date doesn't change, fair play to Warner for giving it to the UK in the same week as the US

Will buy, maybe not right away but once the price is right (unless that tin ends up being limited...). This should look great.

Cover Art is too bland. Would have loved this or even as the inside artwork of a steelbook.

I still haven't watched this, so I'll be getting this on release day then. Seeing this show for the first time, and in 4K to boot, should be a real pleasure.

I prefer to buy 'complete series' sets, but I might get this because it's in 4k

agree about the 4k cover being bland, should've gone with the original poster
