The Post has been in the Top 10 for almost a month since its January 12th expansion. Not a juggernaut, but a decent run nonetheless. (it has grossed over 120 million worldwide so far)

Saw that this weekend. My 2nd favorite of the BP nominees that I've seen.

Jumani dropped only 10% despite a big family movie opening. Impressive.

Greatest Showman continues to drop less than 20%. (It's 54th day is only $700,000 less than its first day)

Peter Rabbit did better than I expected.

That first weekend for Showman is so deceptive. No matter. It did well. Used to be Jackman + Wolverine, but now it's Jackman + musical = can't go wrong.

Seeing the 1:05pm showing of 50 Shades right now....maybe 9 people in here. Theater next door is GREATEST SHOWMAN, every single seat is sold out. Crazy.

Been trying to avoid seeing Showman again cause it hits blu soon enough, but I may cave later today.

Fifty Shades making under $40M is surprising. All the IMAX screenings Thursday and Friday here have been near sellouts, and god knows how expensive those tickets are. I can only imagine the rest of the country.

Clearly, it still has an audience, quality aside.

Won't be surprised if both stay in the top five again next weekend. This weekend's three openers will likely fall hard, and as much as I love Aardman, Early Man looks like kind of a dud. Black Panther will be massive, Fifty Shades in second, might see Jumanji & Showman each bump up a notch.

That'll be a shame. I've heard good things about Early Man and if this'll be 1/10th what Shaun the Sheep was, I'll be overjoyed.
It'll be only new movie I'll catch that weekend while playing catch up with some others.

The franchise crossed 1B globally in just 3 movies. I'm gonna say it has somewhat of an audience.

Yeah, I'm still seeing it, but it just has zero buzz. Trailer's a bit weird, seen no ads on tv, no posters or displays in theaters... if it opens to more than $4 million, I'll be shocked.

I can't wait to see Early Man. I'm guessing $4-5M at the most.

Fifty Shades will drop in the mid 60 range probably.

Honestly, January was a pretty bad month overall for movies but I'd understand why he might've thought some of the new releases last month would overtake it and the other December releases. I don't think anyone was expecting Jumanji to stay at number 1 in February.

It wasn't that. He clearly HATES the movie and his box office recap claimed he would be so happy when it went away. I forget the guys name.

But I saw a dumb woman on one of their videos try to tear it down, because....it was too upbeat. She keeps hinting in the video that she wanted it to be about the abuses Barnum did in real life, and when the other guy finally called her on wanting a depressing, dreadful movie....well, she looked very stupid.
Also she claimed to be a HUGE musical fan, but claimed the songs were too good and sounded alike? I would wager a complaint like that is from someone that has never seen a musical, no?
She also said Valerian was one of the best films of 2017, so clearly her taste is poop.
I saw that video on YouTube a month ago.
