i use twonky media to fire across to my ps3. and although it wont play AAC files, you can always convert them to mp3 using itunes. i have to say that its been a great investment of £30 for me. when people come into my house and notice that i play my music using the imac & ps3, they think its so cool and the advertisment that a ps3 does this is worth the media servers price alone

I know its a pain but notice at the top of the page its coming soon, so hopefully in the next few days.

Music (not all album art show up though) and photos seem to work. But once I go try a few videos I start getting these errors. Then I can't use anything else.

Upgraded to 1.02 (running on Leopard)
I've e-mailed Nullriver hopefully they can help

My mac is wired, ps3 is wireless. I've opened the ports they said in the FAQ too.

I'm a member of GAF and I have the pics there as well. But these are photos I personally took and uploaded.

Well what do you know, the PS3 and Mac did recognized each other and saw what I had but I couldn't get anything to play. Do I have to copy all my music to the PS3? And where do you look up the errors? I got one of 800...

All nullriver has for support is a FAQ and e-mail. Pretty lame. Use a forum guys!

No you don't need to copy anything to your PS3 just to play it (you can if you want). It should just play / stream it from your mac.

Fix the program nullriver!

This looks awesome, and when they have AAC support, it will really rock. But I bet it will not play the songs I downloaded (purchased) from iTunes, or will it?

If the music has DRM on it, it will not work. But if it's DRM free it will work once they update MediaLink to support it.

Yep...AAC is working great. I can get my entire library from my Mac to PS3. I just want album art and we are good to go. This will be great for parties. Just make a playlist and stream through the PS3...

I have an Imac running 10.3.9 and a PS3. The Mac is wired and the PS3 will soon be wireless (not connected at all just yet). How do I get the musics from Itunes to the Mac? I have no idea at all about how this would work and would appreciate some kind step by step instructions. Many thanks!

I apologized if this is a silly question but is apple loss less the same as this AAC? Like I mentioned earlier I got it to see the Mac and even my external HD but I couldn't play anything. Hey Xberserker, cool avatar!

Apple Lossless and AAC are not the same thing, although in iTunes they share the same file extension (.m4a).
