This is a poll - for once it should be pretty easy to stay on topic

His sig on HighDefDigest reads

Whatever that means.

so the opposite would mean, Blu Ray is a Lie???

Lmao...I've seen many more lies come from the HDDVD camp than BD.

Amir's nickname is Ten Percent. Because only 10% of what he says is true!

LOL... guess I have to go make a purchase today... J/K

Isn't it fun to come home week after week and add blue cases to the rack? I love it, I get out of class and then rush over to BBY or Fry's and pick up my discs. There's over ten that I haven't even watched, yet I still buy more. Something about having them on the first day. Some may call me an addict, others may think I'm crazy, but in the end, who the hell cares?

I will not buy any HD DVD players. Neither format will succeed until one format dies and since BD has the better specs I'm putting my bet on the BD horse. Of course when the horse's name is "PS3" then you know its got good odds.

Do owned and ordered count? then i'd raise you.

Going back to the topic. I voted no. I'd only need one for Universal movies if Universal never switched. And I don't like THAT many Universal movies that I feel I'm missing out by not getting them on HD. Of course I'd prefer to buy them on High Definition BD, but I still can buy them on PAL dvd if I want a slighly better image and play them on all my DVD players if I felt the need.

Warners is slowly making good on its promise of all HD will be in Blu-ray. Right now I have on my want list only a dozen HD titles more belonging to them that I would have bought if they had released them simultaneously in BD.

One thing is for sure, instead of as before, where when I saw a title on DVD I would weight if either I should wait for HD to arrive or buy it on DVD, now my descisions are easier . Only for Universal!

Pretty sloppy to the point of being laughable. It actually made me chuckle.

Well I think that was proven wrong. It looks like the 911 consericy involving GoldenRudux as person behind it all is going to pop out soon because of his "HD DVD is the Truth" thing and Kyle taking a dump in the Urinal. The truth is the govenment is paying him to make them look all powerful. Sorry I love south park.

Sorry but that makes about as much sence that post saying what his real intentions are. He post some good info, and I have yet to see the HD DVD fanboy part of him pop out.

Anyways back to the topic. I own both. I hate the HD DVD player, and I only bought it because I got it super cheap in an open box deal. I have owned a total of 5 total HD A1's. None have worked right, even after updates. I have owned 1 BD that has worked right all along with only a few freeze ups, non sence the update. There should be a 3rd thing on the poll, I own and HD player and reget it.

i don't think anything is being said about golden redux. it is someone who has been called a pontificator, if you will, in regards to his HD stance.

Sorry my bad. I made a mistake and misread it. I see the light now. Maybe ham is Goerge Bush. Both are noted for saying stuff that has no reason or proof behind it.

Damn! I thought I was doing good. I own 44. Looks like I have some catching up to do

In terms of owning HD-DVD. I won't touch it unless BD completely and utterly fails (which is pretty unlikely).
