I have 30 BD's and 23 HDDVD's. To this day, I can honestly say Blu Ray is not only meeting the PQ that HDDVD offers, they are beating HDDVD in Sound Quality and Player performance. There are many, many people like myself on AVS and here who own both and can attest to the quality being damn near the same on both formats + or - depending on the title we are comparing, and there is no argument that the BD players Operate better and Uncompressed 5.1 LPCM owns all other codecs.

Now onto other business:

We all have you pretty much pegged now. You claim to be here to "inform" and "Set the facts straight" but you do exactly what the AVS'rs do, You post sections of a review that cater to your point of view and then try to dance around subjects having no first hand experience with any of this equipment and all of your opinions are basically just the shared popular vote from the avsforum, people who fear they may now have bought into yet another "D-theater" and are desperately trying to save this format so they don't tank yet another $XXX.XX sum of money on a DOA format.

The Hilarity of it all is, whenever your proven wrong in a thread... or just get completely blind sided with facts from 3 or more posters...all of a sudden you start replying to things that weren't even said, or you ignore sections of the replies that hurt your point of view or like many discussions we've been in, you just simply disappear and never reply again. Or my favorite...you change your tune and start agreeing with us???

The Sig is a joke...change it. If your going to back something, then back it!...but don't disparage blu ray and then hide behind a BS sig that you have absolutely no plans to stand behind. Also, leave the HDDVD Fudmill over at avs forums where it belongs, this has been a great forum and I'd hate to see it go downhill just because of a few peoples hidden agenda's.
