I'll take you up on that bet. I have no doubt that Amir will still be considered an "insider" at AVS.

I won't take it because that's the side I'd be betting on!

Yes I've posted information I've received directly from Cinram and it's been deleted.

Lee is acting like Cinram just printed their first BD50 yesterday. They've been up and running since April 2007.

The real tragedy in this was that supposedly intelligent people who care about audio and video and were willing to become early adopters actually listened to this man and believed his schpiel.

He was canned (no matter how he tries to spin it) because he failed to produce what he promised MSFT and TOSH in that he could sway the masses by blogging his way through many daft readers who in turn would tell a few people, and they would tell a few people and so on.

Liars and cheaters never prosper is how I see him off.

He was canned because he spent too much of his day posting on silly message boards on the internet!

Regarding MaxPower, somebody should fire off an email to Mark Reuben asking if this [the treatment that has befallen MaxPower] is what he had in mind when he issued his invitation for br insiders to come back to AVS.

Just before Mark closed the insider's thread yesterday, I PM'd him and reported a post that I thought was clearly badgering. To give Mark credit, he closed the thread and cleaned up a lot of the crap that was in there.

I imagine Mark's goal should go a great deal farther than that if the "protected insider status" is to ever reach the caliber it did with Amir. Something tells me he wouldn't go nearly as far for MP.

I started a post on AVS on why HD-DVD fans and insiders were Obsessed with BD50 replication and yields. It appears it got deleted while I was driving home lol.

The other question is, will he still be posting at AVS... and how will he spin that?

How old is he anyway? He looks too young to be retiring.

They've had BD50 line since April, or a BD replication line (possibly only BD25) running since April?

Doby, Max and others were making too much sense. They had to close it

Why couldn't they just close it instead of deleting it all together? Was it getting heated?
