A Time to Kill is incredible, his best IMO.

I remember seeing Phone Booth in the theater, definitely a very tense experience. Also, this one was written by Larry Cohen.

R.I.P. The Lost Boys still ranks among my favorite films. Flatliners and The Incredible Shrinking Woman are up there too.

...and I only just ordered Car Wash (Writer) on Blu-ray Saturday, and it arrives today.

Batman Forever was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. RIP Joel, thank you for giving me some of my earliest movie memories.

I actually really like his approach to Batman. For better or worse, they're the kind of films we'll never see again. Also, A Time to Kill is terrific and Lost Boys is a classic. He always seemed like a kind, good natured man. He will be missed.

He was definitely an interesting director with a very vast filmography. Unfortunately we live in the era were super hero movies are more highly regarded then actual dramas, so he'll be remembered for one bad movie forever.

I loved it, of his films that I have seen this and Lost Boys are my favorites.
It was my introduction to Emmy Rossum and Patrick Wilson and have been a fan since.. I knew who Gerard Butler was from Tomb Raider and Dracula 2000 but this was where I became a fan as well.

RIP Joel Schumacher.

Schumacher also helped launch the careers of Matthew McConaughey and Colin Farrell, when he cast them in leading roles in "A Time to Kill" and "Tigerland."

He was a director with great flair who never made a forgettable movie. Even his worst movies are still widely remembered.

RIP and thanks for the memories.

Linklater launches McConaughey’s career 3 years earlier in Dazed and Confused, and the studio put him in A Time To Kill.

Between Batman Forever and A Time To Kill, this is a sad day. May he rest in peace.

Rip I guess we wont ever see a directors cut of Batman forever with the deleted scenes that make the film darker. I really love the film.
