$40M would be good for HK, and that'll help make back its budget, despite the day and date release and pandemic times.

$40 million is cool. But you know what's even cooler? $80 million.

Last Duel is a medieval film with a generally unfamiliar story, so $10 million sounds about right for this time of theaters.

Halloween Kills, I can see it reaching $25 million. No way $55 since it's a sequel.

In the Box Office Mojo article last weekend, a studio exec said Halloween would make $40m and Dune $30m.

I personally think it will make near to 40 million. The nights are getting dark, the Halloween season is within touching distance etc..

The poll definitely should've been based on $40 million over/under. I think it'll be $32 million.

I don't feel the hype for this one. Was there really a demand for a new Halloween trilogy? The last one had the hook of bringing Jamie Lee back again. Now people may be realizing this is her 6th Halloween movie...and the 11th Myers movie overall I think. Not much novelty left. Then add on the rotten reviews, Peacock and piracy to reduce demand further.

I shared a link in the HK thread to get Peacock for 6 months for like $20, but I'm just gonna sign up for a month tonight. I'll watch HK this weekend, and a random Royal Rumble PPV (Wynn's choice), and cancel.

I think Hell in the Cell is the next show. I did watch the Blob and Prince of Darkness on there last night. Both were free so not sure why anyone would pay for this.

It was better in the 90's, as with most things the upstarts are taking over.

I think it'll do better than most Day-in-date Streaming movies, but still not a ton.

My 7PM preview showing was PACKED. The most of any film I've been to this year. Not going to be surprised if this surprises with a big number this weekend.
