Don't let the format war comments get to you.

Blu Ray has won and that is all there is to it. Of course the DuD players will outsell Blu Ray, there are cheap as hell.

I have a 2 DuD players and 1 Blu Ray player. My comp can play both.

The cost of my Panny was $500

The total cost of the 2 dUds was $279.

Since I bought my Blu Ray, the only Hd DuDs that have entered into my home are the 5 free ones I just got today. I think I have bought 34 Blus in a row plus a few more on order.

Anyway my point is that the sales comparison is apples to oranges.
Would you say that Geo Metros are the best cars in the world because they outsell a Mercedes SLK 1,000 to One?

No.

You pay for quality, and Blu Ray has proven that they are top shelf, Johnny Walker Blu Label shit!

Once Blu player prices come closer to DuD Players Prices, and start to "outsell" them, we can officially put DuDs 6 feet under.

PS3 a failure?? Is that why it outsold the crapbox in 2007?

Wii a better option?? SD last gen graphics with nothing but remade Super Mario games??

This is the truest statement made, yet completely irrelevent. Don't these people realize that in order for FUD to work they must prey on those more ignorant than themselves? If the FUD gets any lower that demographic will quickly die off!

The HD-DUD fanboys who chastise sony for forcing blu-ray on ps3 owners need to open their eyes and see that Microsoft forced DVD drives on 360 owners instead of using another format (CDs, UMD, LaserDisc, BluRay, HD-DUD, etc).
