The problem is not DNR per se, Warner simply used an inferior master that does not have true 1080p resolution. It was one of those early discs done so that the new HD formats would have a popular movie to draw in consumers. Warner has actually gone back and fixed some of the other discs with similar problems, reissuing them when necessary on BD. But while popular, Enter The Dragon is not a massive catalog seller. I am not sure Warner cares to remaster it properly.

poor enter the dragon just can't catch a break.
It's so ridiculous when the same film gets released on 8 different formats and STILL doesn't get one decent release.
just pathetic.

I noticed some DNR, but probably my main complaint is the edge enhancement-looking stuff that comes from it being artificially sharpened. That's something I think I have only noticed on this one disc thus far. I can certainly live with it, though. It boasts both more detail and more clarity than the DVD, unlike some botch-jobs other studios have released. (*cough*Predator*cough*)

Yes the god damn edge enhancement was on overdrive. It was very distracting.

The problem is more due to the incorrectly interlaced HD transfer, which produces nasty aliasing problems.
